Newly selected Miss Universe 2010 Jimena Navarrete Rosete is from Mexico.

She was born and raised in Guadalajara.

She is 22 years old and studied nutrition prior to getting involved into beauty pageants.

I think Jimena Navarrete’s interview question was one of the best ones, where she replied to Olympic gold-medal figure skater Evan Lysacek for his question about teenager’s internet use, "I do believe that Internet is an indispensable, necessary tool for the present time, we must be sure to teach them the values that we learned as a family."

Jimena Navarrete is the second Miss Universe title winner from Mexico. Lupita Jones won the title in 1991. This year Miss Universe 2010 pageant was held in Las Vengas, Nevada. Coincidently, Miss Universe pageant 1991 was also held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
